Questions
Studio questions, answered
- I have never done Pilates. Which class should I start with?
- Start with a small-group reformer class or a single private session. Both are cued from the ground up, and the instructor sets your springs for you. You do not need a base level of fitness to begin.
- What should I bring and wear?
- Fitted clothing you can move in and grip socks. We keep grip socks at the studio if you forget yours. Bring water; we have a filling station.
- How large are the classes?
- Small group by design, so your instructor can see and correct every body in the room. If you want more attention than that, book a private.
- Do you work with injuries or postpartum clients?
- Yes. Tell us on the phone before your first visit so we can place you with the right instructor and the right format. Private sessions are usually the best starting point.
- Where exactly are you in Portsmouth?
- 72 Mirona Road, Suite #2 in Portsmouth, just off the Route 1 Bypass with free parking at the door. We are a short drive from downtown, Rye, Newington, New Castle, and Kittery.
- When will I be able to book classes online?
- Online booking will open as soon as the studio goes live. In the meantime, call or text (603) 777-6545 and we will add you to the first-to-know list so you can reserve your spot the moment scheduling opens.
- How do I book a class right now?
- We are not yet accepting live bookings, but we are building the schedule now. Call or text (603) 777-6545 with the class or time you are hoping for and we will make sure you are the first to know when reservations open.
